A stay at Rydges Wellington places you in the heart of Wellington, steps from Wellington Central Business District and Wellington Waterfront. Then at around 7am the noise above continued as well as the construction outside which was very irritating when we had very little sleep due to being kept aware from the noise above. If we were there for more than the two nights I would have asked for another room. No dinner plates or bottle opener. Some of the more popular amenities offered include an indoor pool, free wifi, and an on-site restaurant. All rooms feature flat screen televisions, free unlimited Wi-Fi, iPod docking stations and kitchenettes. The view from our room over the harbour was also amazing and a great surprise. The building refurbishment work next door is a challenge for us, I did actually meet with the contracting company from the NZ Post building last week outlining my concerns around their work patterns prior to 8am, which is when they’re supposed to start work. location is great and staff are friendly and helpful , our room was well appointed but could have been cleaner , there was no mattress protector on the bed but this was sorted asap when I informed staff , there was a broken cupboard door in the kitchen , the wine glasses were dirty , the microwave had not been cleaned and the extractor fan in the bathroom did not work .
